The beginnings of Cafh

Don Santiago Bovisio (1903-1962) founded Cafh on March 3, 1937 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Originally from Italy, Don Santiago participated as a youth in a European spiritual society, receiving there an extraordinary training, education and knowledge in many aspects of spiritual life. He became a spiritual teacher of remarkable gifts, insight and understanding. Many of his first students lived in Buenos Aires, Rosario and Mendoza. In his lifetime he gave direction to the idea of Cafh as a spiritual path, with a method of life that includes weekly meetings and periodic retreats, meditation practice and individual spiritual guidance.
