In our weekly meetings, members
of Cafh participate in the study of courses of teachings,
which range from subjects such as the great religions,
philosophy, and history to method of life.
Some courses give us knowledge and a background for
understanding the diversity of the world’s faiths
and spiritual traditions.
Other courses give us practical advice and tools for
living better, such as studies in relationship, ascetic
exercises, physical health, prayer and meditation.
Still others look at the great contemplative and monastic
traditions and offer us insights into the disciplines
of prayer, meditation and renunciation.
The idea of Renouncement
is central to the teachings of Cafh.
Members of Cafh practice the idea of Renouncement
in one of two ways: living in their private residences
or living in Community.
